Debra Harris Named Director of Sales at Chateau Avalon
KANSAS CITY, KS, April 11, 2006. Yogi Hutsen, President & CEO of Seattle-based Coastal Hotel Group, today announced that Debra Harris has been named director of sales at Chateau Avalon, a 62-room luxury hotel located in the Village West district in Kansas City, Kan., near Cabela's, Nebraska Furniture Mart and Kansas Speedway.
Harris began her career at Kansas City's Playboy Club and most recently was director of sales at the Comfort Suites hotel in Olathe, Kan. Her tenure in hospitality sales and marketing included assignments in her hometown of Kansas City at the Westin Crown Center and the Hyatt Regency Crown Center. She also served in sales and food and beverage positions in Oklahoma and in Dallas at the acclaimed Mansion on Turtle Creek.
