Sunset Names Steven Ford VP Sales, North America
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica, April 27, 2006. Sunset Resorts announces the appointment of Steven Ford today as Vice President Sales, North America. The Jamaica-based company operates three all-inclusive properties: Sunset Beach Resort & Spa, Montego Bay; Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort, Ocho Rios; and Sunset at the Palms, Negril. Ford will oversee sales development for the group in the United States and Canada while working to increase property revenues, expand business alliances and create sales incentives.
Ford joins Sunset Resorts after serving nearly 10 years as Superclubs' Vice President of its Wholesale Division, where he managed revenue for the company's Caribbean and South American properties. From 1992 to 1995, Ford worked as Jack Tar Village Resorts' Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mexican and Caribbean hotels. Previously, Ford served as Vice President of Groups & Incentives for Club Med Group and as Director of Marketing/Sales Manager with American Express Vacations.
Mr. Ford is a graduate of Slough College in the United Kingdom.
