Gatehouse Capital Expands Executive Team
DALLAS, TX, April 25, 2006. Gatehouse Capital Corporation, a national real estate investment and development firm specializing in distinctive mixed-use and hotel projects, has expanded its executive team with the addition of key personnel experienced in capital markets, construction and design, public/private partnerships, project management, and civil engineering.
"With these recent executive additions and the support of Hicks Holdings LLC as our investment partner, Gatehouse Capital is positioned for continued growth in 2006 and beyond," said Marty Collins, CEO of Gatehouse Capital. These additions to Gatehouse Capital have extensive and varied backgrounds in investment banking, hospitality, asset management, design, construction and civil engineering. They also have advanced educations from renowned institutions such as the Wharton School, Kellogg Business School, University of Illinois and University of California at Davis. Gatehouse's new executives are:
David Perel, Senior Vice President Capital Markets - David is responsible for project and corporate financing, contract negotiations and select project development for Gatehouse. David was previously Managing Director of Investment Banking for ABN Amro and has held senior-level positions in the investment banking departments of Bear Stearns, Furman Selz and ING Barings. He holds a graduate degree in Finance from Kellogg Business School and an undergraduate degree in Business from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and has earned his Certified Public Accountant credential.
Alice Murray, Vice President Design and Construction - Alice is responsible for construction, design and project management. She was previously President and CEO of the Central Dallas Association (CDA) and Downtown Improvement District (DID), now named Downtown Dallas. Focused on the revitalization of downtown Dallas for the past 20 years, Alice has served on several boards of downtown-related organizations, including the CDA, the Real Estate Council, DID, the City Center TIF Board, and the Trinity Commons Foundation. She holds a bachelor of science in Interior Design from University of Illinios.
Sanjib Sah, Vice President Design and Construction - Sanjib is responsible for construction and design management on several West Coast projects. Previously he was an associate director with Navigant Consulting, Inc. and a co-professor of Construction Issues and Claims in the Graduate Civil Engineering Program for Stanford University. At Webcor Builders, Sanjib was involved the construction of the 34-story W San Francisco Hotel. He has a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis.
