Ocean Park Hotels Names Cherie Davis as General Manager for Hilton Monterey

MONTEREY, CA, Jluy 8, 2005. Ocean Park Hotels announced today the appointment of Cherie L. Davis to General Manager for the Hilton Monterey. Ms. Davis will oversee the operations of the 204-room hotel and assist in the multi-million dollar renovation. Ocean Park Hotels, owner and manager of the hotel, plans an extensive renovation for the guest rooms, public spaces, restaurant and lounge.

Cherie Davis joins Ocean Park Hotels with an abundance of experience in the hotel industry. Previously, Ms. Davis served as the Hotel Manager of the 483-room Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City. During her 24 years in the hospitality industry, Ms. Davis held leadership positions of General Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Sales and Marketing as well as many Task Force positions and opening teams. Cherie Davis served as an officer in the United States Army for 19 years in the Military Intelligence Corps. As a Captain with VII U.S. Corps, she earned various awards and medals in recognition of her achievements and services.

The Hilton Monterey features 204 guest rooms and suites with a hotel restaurant and bar, the Pacific Grille. The hotel offers over 6,000 square feet of meeting space indoors and outdoors.
