Benchmark Appoints Janet Thiel Director of Benefits
HOUSTON, TX, December 11, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Janet Thiel as director of benefits for the leading hospitality management company. Eileen Santoli, vice president of human resources, made the announcement.

In her new position, Ms. Thiel will be responsible for overseeing a number of areas important to the human resources function for Benchmark Hospitality. These include employee healthcare and 401K benefits, workers compensation, employee assistance programming, employee safety, employee relations, as well as education and compliance among others.
Ms. Thiel was previously benefits manager for Benchmark, a role she assumed in 2004. Prior to this she was benefits administrator. She joined Benchmark's Home Office in 1999. Ms. Thiel originally joined Benchmark Hospitality at The Northland Inn, located near Minneapolis, Minnesota. She and her family reside in The Woodlands, Texas.
