Former Best Western Chairman Joins Huff, Niehaus

LOUISVILE, KY, May 23, 2006. Brandt Niehaus, CHB, President of Huff, Niehaus & Associates, Inc., announced today that Lowell Cruse, a former Chairman of the Board for Best Western International, has joined the firm as Vice President.

'We are very enthusiastic about Lowell joining the Huff, Niehaus & Associates sales team,' said Niehaus, President of the firm. 'Given his high level of expertise and multi-dimensional background in the hospitality industry, Lowell will make a high-level contribution to Huff, Niehaus & Associates and our clients.'

Cruse has held real estate licenses in Alabama, Arizona, and Florida. Niehaus said, 'Lowell plans to concentrate in the southeast and on his many contacts made in Best Western International. He also plans to get involved in some international activity which will help both HBI and Huff, Niehaus.'

Cruse is a former Chairman of the Board for Best Western International and served on the Best Western International Board from 1999 through 2005. He was elected to represent the hotel owners in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and the Caribbean. A 27-year Best Western veteran, Cruse has served in a leadership role in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee as a governor and is currently serving as a governor in Tennessee. He has 30 years experience in the hotel industry. He currently serves on the Best Western International Advisory Committee and Membership Development Committee. Cruse's diverse hospitality experience includes ownership of large and small, full- and limited-service, and chain and independent hotels. Cruse is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and resides in Florence, Alabama, the home of his corporate office.
