Hilton Arc De Triomphe Paris Unwraps Gift Muse
Hotel Creates First-Ever Position Dedicated to Dreaming Up Surprises For Guests
PARIS, France, May 31, 2006. Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris has come up with new way to attract and retain the elusive business traveler with the hotel's Gift Muse program. The Gift Muse is dedicated to enchanting guests with surprise amenities and VIP treatment.
"Over the last couple of years, the number of U.S. visitors to Hilton hotels in the Paris area has grown by more than 50-percent," says Olivier Chavy, General Manager of Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris. "The Gift Muse is our way of recognizing guests from America and around the world who choose time and again to make us their home in Paris."
The hotel has chosen Diane Patoz to be the Gift Muse. Patoz is well acquainted with Hilton Arc de Triomphe's VIP clientele, having worked until recently as a manager in the hotel's Executive Lounge, taking care of guests and implementing brand standards.
Now, as Gift Muse, Patoz will develop unique in-room amenities customized to guests' individual tastes and preferences. She will also work with guests to coordinate any special requests - so if a guest is partial toward a certain kind of pillow, she will make sure the pillows are in that guest's room on every visit to Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris.
A standardized amenity, which will change every six months, will greet guests on their inaugural stay. Repeat guests will be welcomed back with a different amenity on each future visit. Gifts will range from hotel souvenirs - including a bathrobe-clad teddy bear, themed jigsaw puzzle, and exclusive HADT-commissioned novels featuring the hotel - to delectable delights such as wine and a Chef's Creation turndown.
"A personal touch is often what separates a good hotel experience from a great one," Chavy said. "The Gift Muse will provide that personal touch - along with a gift that guests will always have to remember each experience at Hilton Arc de Triomphe."
In addition to the Gift Muse amenity, VIP guests will enjoy the hotel's unique nightly turndown surprises, which include incense, a sniff box, and French caramels.
