Clyde Billman New GM, Outrigger Maui Eldorado

HONOLULU, HI, June 1, 2006. Scott Candland, vice president of operations for Outrigger Enterprises' Condominium/Timeshare Division, announces that Clyde Billman has joined Outrigger's Condominium Collection as General Manager of the Outrigger Maui Eldorado, a resort condominium located within Maui's Kaanapali Beach Resort.

In his position, Billman is responsible for the day to day operation of the property, overseeing all departments including housekeeping, maintenance and front office. Owner relations is also a key component of his job, in addition to acting as Outrigger's representative with the property's Association of Apartment Owners.

A Certified Hotel Administrator, Billman has over 25 years of experience in hotel and condominium resort management. He joins Outrigger's Condominium Collection from his most recent position with Accor Hotels of North America where he managed a number of properties in Nevada's Lake Tahoe area. For twelve years, Billman ran Classic Management Corporation, his own hospitality marketing and asset management and development company. He was also president and CEO of Nendels Inns out of Portland, Oregon, and has held senior management positions with hotel brands Ramada Inns and Red Lion Inns.

Billman is no stranger to Hawaii having served for two years as director of operations with the Honolulu-based HTH Corporation, which operates the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki, Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu and the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel on Hawaii's Big Island. He also managed the Colony Surf Resort in Waikiki.
