Hersha Names Gregory S. Pasewark Director of Construction Services

PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 2, 2006. Hersha Hospitality Management (HHM), a hotel management company of nationally franchised, midscale and upscale hotels in the eastern United States, today announced that Gregory S. Pasewark has joined HHM as director of construction services. In his new position, Pasewark will lead the renovation and design team that provides project management, design services and engineering consultation for properties subject to major renovations and property improvement plans (PIPs).

"Greg brings a wealth of experience in leading and coordinating renovation projects to HHM," said Naveen Kakarla, vice president of administration. "His strengths in project management, budgeting, and design consultation will further our ability to complete PIPs and major renovations on a timely basis with minimal disruption to guests and property revenues. Greg will strengthen HHM's focus on building scalable processes for renovation and design to ensure communication and strong relationships between HHM and our properties, subcontractors and supply vendors."

Prior to joining HHM, Pasewark worked for 15 years at Excel Interior Concepts and Construction, a leading renovation and design company in central Pennsylvania that focuses on strategic planning and management of renovation and new construction projects. He was responsible for managing Excel's relationships with customers, designers, and key construction trades.

Pasewark is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), a Certified Graduate Remodeler for the NAHB, and a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Harrisburg. Pasewark earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dickinson College.
