Benchmark Appoints Mike Wilkins Director of Sales & Marketing, Turtle Bay
HOUSTON, TX, June 5, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Mike Wilkins as director of sales & marketing for Turtle Bay Resort, the signature property located on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Bob Boyle, managing director for Benchmark at the resort, made the announcement.

"He comes to us with decades of sales & marketing experience within the hospitality industry, during which he has built strong relationships with major corporate customers. Mr. Wilkins brings to Turtle Bay Resort over 30 years of experience in the hospitality, travel and special event industries. Most recently he was a senior executive with the Centennial Service Group in Atlanta where he created and managed charity and corporate customer programs for organizations, including The First Tee, Fortune magazine, The Meetings Group, Turnstile Publishing and others.
Additionally, he held senior marketing positions with Oaktree Hotels at Kiawah Island Resort in Charleston, South Carolina; Westin Hotels and Resorts in Chicago and Atlanta; Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Denver and Vail; Stouffer Hotels in Philadelphia and Walt Disney World Hotels in Orlando.
Wilkins is a member of the Association of Professional Fundraisers, The Religious Conference Managers Association and the Barbershop Harmony Society. He is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism. He has relocated to Oahu with his wife, Mary.
