CSM Lodging Employees Named for Excellence by Marriott

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, June 8, 2006. CSM Lodging received several industry awards in recognition of the exceptional performance of its leaders. CSM Lodging associates were acknowledged for excellence in leadership skills, sales results, customer service and community involvement at the Marriott International Global Leadership Awards.

Four CSM Lodging leaders and teams were recognized as regional winners and became nominees for the global awards. Dar Johnston, director of revenue management, won the Revenue Management Leadership Award, Franchised Hotels, on both the regional level as well as the Global Revenue Management Leadership Award, Franchised Hotels for all of Marriott International. Other award winning CSM Lodging associates and teams were:

Aimee Cheek, Best Internet Strategy, Central Region;

Cheryl Smith, Director of Sales of the Year, Extended Stay Brands, Central Region;

Eden Prairie Area Sales Office, Sales Team of the Year, Select Service Brands, Central Region.

The annual Global Leadership Awards are presented by Marriott International to reward outstanding performers in sales, marketing, eCommerce, revenue management and event management.
