Hammons Welcomes Sales Award
SPRINGFIELD, MO, June 16, 2006. John Q. Hammons has announcd that the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine received the Sales Team of the Year award from the Renaissance brand during the organization's North American Sales & Marketing Conference in Washington, D.C.
The Renaissance World Golf Village was selected as the Sales Team of the Year from among 68 Renaissance hotels and resorts in the nation. For the past year, the hotel exceeded its goals for Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), booking pace, and catering and room revenue.
In addition, the sales team was noted for their enthusiastic teamwork, community involvement and ability to secure partnerships with internal and off-property sales channels.
