ATLANTA, GA, June 27, 2006. Coral Hospitality, a full-service hospitality management and investment company specializing in hotels, clubs and residential communities, today announced that Charles Burton has been appointed General Manager of Brasstown Valley Resort. The expansive mountain resort and conference center is situated within a 503-acre protected forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia.

As General Manager, Burton will oversee all operations of the resort, which features 134 guest rooms, a 14,298 square-foot Conference Center facility, a championship Scottish links-style golf course as well as a new stables facility.

"Brasstown already has a reputation of delivering memorable experiences," Burton explains. "We need to capitalize on the volume of amenities available to guests as well as the expansive amount of meeting facilities on site."

In his new role, Burton will first focus on key service areas that impact guests' overall resort experience and provide the leadership necessary to ensure guests receive the highest standard of service at every step of their resort stay. For Burton, that means "managing by walking around." This unique, hands-on management style positively engages employees and fosters professional development, inspiring genuine commitment among them to consistently deliver top-notch client service.

To personally guarantee that guests are enjoying all aspects of their resort experience, Burton will maintain a highly-visible and accessible profile on the property. He also will conduct daily property inspections to make certain high-quality standards are met and all details are attended to in a timely and courteous manner.

A hospitality industry veteran, Burton has more than 18 years of experience managing four-star/four-diamond properties. He comes to Brasstown Valley Resort from the The Homestead in Hot Springs, Va., where he has worked since 2000. While at The Homestead, Burton first served as Rooms Division Manager before his appointment to Hotel Manager in 2004. Burton began his career at The Homestead's sister property, Barton Creek resort in Austin Texas, where he played an integral role in the resort's growth and expansion.

During his tenure at the famed Texas golf destination, Burton held positions as Conference Assistant Manager, Concierge/Bell Desk/Transportation Manager, Guest Services and Resort Security Director and Rooms Division Manager.

A native of Austin, Tx., Burton served in the United States Marine Corp Reserve for six years and is a Certified Rooms Division Manager. Burton and his wife, Stephanie, have two children, Chace (7) and Taylor (11).
