The Heldrich Appoints Bill Spencer Sales Manager
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ, July 6, 2006. Bill Spencer has been appointed sales manager for The Heldrich, the $110 million property being constructed in the heart of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Mike Taylor, general manager for the new hotel, made the announcement.
"It is with pleasure that we welcome Bill to our growing team of professionals for The Heldrich," said Mr. Taylor. "His vast experience within the meetings industry and within our geographic market adds tremendous value to our sales and marketing programming."
Mr. Spencer brings nearly 15 years of hospitality experience to his new role at The Heldrich, including expertise gained in a variety of disciplines within the industry. Previously, Spencer was sales manager in charge of developing national accounts for the Ocean Place Resort and Spa of Long Branch, New Jersey, a property where he invested several years growing his career. In this role, he was responsible for creating and executing sales and marketing programs designed to generate business from Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Spencer served in the position of beverage manager, managing a team of 19 food & beverage professionals. Before this, he held positions of increasing responsibility within the beverage department at the resort.
Bill Spencer attended Brookdale Community Collage of Lincroft, New Jersey. He resides in Freehold, New Jersey, with his wife and daughter.
