Rosen Shingle Creek Names Jason Parsons Resident Manager
ORLANDO, FL, July 6, 2006. Dan Giordano, General Manager of Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, announced today that Jason Parsons has been named Resident Manager for the 1,500-room resort in preparation for its September 9, 2006 opening.
"With the opening of Shingle Creek only two months away," explained Giordano, "We needed someone who was dedicated to providing a guest experience that will be second to none in Orlando and the country. Jason has already shown to us that he is dedicated to the Rosen team and more than ready for the duties and responsibilities involved with this position."
As Resident Manager, Parsons will be responsible for overseeing the guest experience from the moment of arrival to departure. This includes the valet, bell stand, front desk, concierge, housekeeping, spa and recreation areas, as well as all food and beverage outlets. In addition to these duties, he will be providing support to the directors and management teams.
Parsons has been with Rosen Hotels & Resorts for 10 years, most recently with the Rosen Centre, where he has served as resident manager for the past three years. Prior to this position, he has been a front office manager, assistant banquet manager and convention services manager for the hotel company.
Originally from Westchester, New York, Parsons later move to Richmond to obtain his degree from Randolph Macon College in 1996. After graduating, he moved to Orlando and began his career with Rosen Hotels & Resorts as a manager in training. Parsons is engaged to be married next summer to Michelle Zaiter and enjoys running and swimming.
