Lars Wagner Appointed GM of InterContinental Paris Le Grand H^otel
PARIS, France, July 6, 2006. The InterContinental Paris Le Grand H^otel appoints Lars Wagner as General Manager of this Parisian landmark hotel. Wagner will look after the operational management of the 470-room luxury property and its famous restaurant, the Caf'e de la Paix. Wagner was previously the Hotel Manager of the new Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche.
With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Wagner is a veteran of the luxury hotel industry. He has held positions at hotels around the world, including the Four Seasons Hotel in Prague, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Chicago and the Grand Hyatt Erawan in Bangkok. Wagner holds a Diploma in Hotel Administration (Hotelkaufmann) from the School for Hotel and Restaurant Operation in Hamburg.
Wagner replaces Didier Boidin as General Manager. Boidin has been promoted to the position of Managing Director and will continue to oversee all of the InterContinental hotels in France and the Mediterranean region.
