Millennium Appoints Robert Cvik Area Driector, Business Sales
Cvik to Head Business Transient Sales for Millennium's New York City Properties
NEW YORK, NY, July 19, 2006. Millennium Hotels and Resorts, North America, (MHR) today announced the promotion of Robert Cvik to area director of business transient sales. Cvik will be responsible for business transient sales at the Millennium Broadway and the Millennium UN Plaza hotels located in New York City. Previously, Cvik had been director of business transient sales at the Millennium Broadway, a position he held since 2003.
Cvik has over nineteen years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining MHR, Cvik served as associate director of sales for the Swissotel and Drake properties in New York City. He has also served at the Swissotel Boston; the Sheraton Riverfront in Lowell, Massachusetts; Marstan Industries in Philadelphia; and the Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
In conjunction with Cvik's expansion in responsibilities, Frank Scannicchio, corporate sales manager; Darragh Flood, corporate sales manager and Maralee Bilotta, transient sales manager, will also become area sales managers responsible for Millennium's two hotel properties in New York.
