Laurie Leh Joins Northwest as VP, Sales and Marketng
VANCOUVER, WA, July 25, 2005. Laurie Leh has joined hotel development and management company Northwest Hospitality Group, LLC as the company's vice president of sales and marketing. Richard E. Takach, president and CEO of Northwest Hospitality Group, made the announcement.
As vice president of sales and marketing for Northwest Hospitality Group, Leh is responsible for initiating and managing the company's sales, sales training, advertising/marketing and revenue-generating efforts.
Prior to joining Northwest Hospitality Group, Leh was most recently employed by Summerfield Suites Hotels and Summerfield Suites by Wyndham. At the organization's Wichita, Kan. and Dallas, Texas locations, she held a range of positions, including general manager, vice president of sales and regional vice president of operations.
During the five years immediately prior to joining Summerfield, Leh served as director of sales, general manager and regional director of sales and marketing for Residence Inn by Marriott's Southeastern and Midwestern U.S. territories. She also previously devoted ten years to the management of sales and marketing initiatives for companies in the ski and resorts industry.
A native of Minneapolis, Minn., Leh earned an associate's degree in business from the University of Minnesota School of Business.
