Simplified Checkout and Expense Tracking for Holiday Inn(R) Guests
Priority Club(R) Rewards' new 'Hotel Bills' feature gives travelers online access to hotel folios
ATLANTA, GA, July 26, 2006. Hotel guests are all too familiar with waiting in line for a bill at checkout or searching for a missing hotel receipt to complete an expense report. InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)] now has an online solution to making checkout quicker and tracking expenses easier with its new Priority Club Rewards' "Hotel Bills" feature.
Guests at Holiday Inn(R) and other IHG-branded properties can now view, save, print and e-mail final hotel bills electronically through the new "Hotel Bills" feature of the Priority Club(R) Rewards web site. The "Hotel Bills" feature allows travelers to access hotel folios easily for activities such as submitting expense reports or filing taxes. It also helps guests bypass the checkout line completely, even if they've added charges to their hotel bill after checkout, such as ordering breakfast or making a phone call.
"We want to make traveling easier and more convenient for our guests, and that includes details such as the hotel bill and checkout process," said Steve Sickel, senior vice president of Multibrand and Relationship Marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group. "The new 'Hotel Bills' feature is just one more way we are demonstrating our commitment to the complete hotel experience, offering program features that bring more flexibility to the hotel experience even after guests check out," he added.
Guests must be Priority Club Rewards members to use "Hotel Bills." To access this service, members simply log in to their accounts at priorityclub.com and click on the "View Account" button at the top of the page, which provides access to view past hotel stays and access hotel folios.
