InterContinental Appoints Regional IT Chief in Asia
LONDON, UK, August 2, 2006. InterContinental Hotels Group announces the appointment of Tony Yeoh to the position of vice president, Information Technology, Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Tony reports directly to chief information officer Tom Conophy.
Tony joins InterContinental Hotels Group from Hewlett Packard, where he held the position of general manager, operations, HP Services China, based in Beijing. During his 12 years at Hewlett Packard, Tony gained strong pan-regional business management and consultancy experience. Prior to Hewlett Packard, Tony held systems development, project management and technology consultancy roles in various industries including telecommunications, banking and the public sector. Throughout his career, he has worked in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.
