Jessie Burgess Named As Director Of Information Technology-Telecommunications Department
DALLAS, TX, August 22, 2006. Accor North America announced the promotion of Jessie Burgess as director of the Information Technology - Telecommunications Department. Burgess' responsibilities include leading the design, installation, maintenance, and support of the voice and data network infrastructure. His duties include long term network growth, capacity planning, and implementation of all technologies related to network hardware, PBX/voice equipment, and data communication circuits.
Prior to joining Accor, Burgess served for over five years as a communications and computer systems officer in the US Air Force. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain in 2001 and joined Accor as the manager of Enterprise Communications Services. Burgess received his bachelor's degree in computer science from Grambling State University, and is currently attending the University of Texas at Dallas in pursuit of a master's degree in business administration.
