Mark Juliano Appointed to ACCVA Board of Directors
JUNE 15, 2009 The Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA) is pleased to announce that New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine has appointed Mark Juliano to the ACCVA Board of Directors.
Juliano, Chief Executive Officer of Trump Entertainment Resorts since 2005, is a casino veteran who has managed operations in Las Vegas, Indiana, Nova Scotia and Delaware. He also served as chairman of the Board of Directors of the ACCVA from 1996 through 2003.
"We are pleased to welcome Mark back to the ACCVA Board," said Jeff Vasser, ACCVA president. "We know from past experience that his enthusiastic support of Atlantic City and his thoughtful leadership will be an asset."
In accepting the appointment, Juliano stated, "I am happy to be able to assist the ACCVA in positioning our resort as a premier destination for all to enjoy."
The Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority serves as the destination's principal marketing arm, stimulating economic growth through convention, business and leisure tourism development. The Authority oversees the management of the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall. The Authority is the first in New Jersey to achieve Destination Marketing accreditation by the Destination Marketing Association International. The Authority is among an elite group of 47 accredited convention and visitor bureaus throughout the United States.
