. June 30, 2009

BERMUDA, June 29, 2009 - Tucker's Point Hotel & Spa, Bermuda's first luxury hotel in nearly 40 years, is pleased to announce the appointment of Wendy Zapach as director of sales and marketing.

"We are thrilled to welcome Wendy to the Tucker's Point Hotel & Spa team. She will drive our competitive advantage of being a boutique property with a full-scale conference centre," said Eric Brooks, chief operating officer, Tucker's Point Club. "We can offer a meeting environment and a level of service for board of directors meetings and executive retreats that are otherwise lost in a large convention hotel. With her proven success in the hospitality industry, and her eager and vivacious personality, Wendy is ideally suited for the position. We know that Tucker's Point Hotel & Spa, with her assistance, will continue to be the premier resort on-island amongst both groups and leisure travelers."

Wendy joins Tucker's Point Hotel & Spa after spending almost three years as the leisure and entertainment sales manager at the Boston Harbor Hotel, where she was an integral member of the sales department, bringing in more than $2 million in group and transient business. Prior to this, Wendy was the general manager of Intrigue Caf'e and Rowe's Wharf Bar in Boston. It was there that Wendy managed a team of 100 employees; liaised with promoters, artists, booking agents and vendors for all on-site entertainment opportunities, and ultimately increased the venue's revenues and profits. Wendy Zapach now brings this bottom-line focus to the art of selling at Tucker's Point.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Wendy is an avid runner and voracious reader of modern fiction. She currently resides in Reading, MA, with her husband and young son.
