Active Military, Police and Firefighters Given Discount at Lake Tahoe's Resort at Squaw Creek Golf Course
OLYMPIC VALLEY, CA, July 16, 2009 - Lake Tahoe's Resort at Squaw Creek is offering active military, police and firefighters a $50 rate on their scenic Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Championship Golf Course during "Thank You Tuesdays and Wednesdays," which runs through mid-October. Complimentary valet parking and a shared cart are included. The standard daily rate midweek is $95 per round. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 530.581.6637; an ID must be presented upon arrival to the pro shop.
Resort at Squaw Creek's golf course is recognized nationally and internationally for environmental stewardship. Audubon International has certified the course as a cooperative sanctuary.
Club rentals and lessons are available. Weekly women's and junior clinics are offered for $15, and a Family Golf Special allows children under 17 years of age to play for free with a paying adult beginning at 5:30 PM nightly. Family golf tees are set-up at 150-yards to make the round truly family friendly.
