Dolce to Manage and Brand a Destination in Munich, Germany

. October 14, 2008

DECEMBER 21, 2006. Dolce International has announced that in cooperation with KCL AG, it will be building a new 250-room Hotel & Conference Destination just outside the Bavarian capital of Munich, Germany. The new hotel will be adjacent to the Ballhaus Forum in Unterschleissheim-a conference, convention and event location that Dolce will manage beginning in March 2007.

The new hotel will also have extensive meeting facilities covering some 32,000 square feet and will be managed by Dolce International following its completion in the fourth quarter of 2008. It will also boast recreational and wellness areas and demonstrate the same high standards of contemporary design now synonymous with the Dolce brand.

The BallhausForum, renamed BallhausForum Munich Unterschleissheim, is just 15 minutes from Munich International Airport. It will accommodate up to 4,000 people in its facilities, covering over 107,000 square feet, providing the perfect meeting location for conferences, events, trade fairs, theatre, TV broadcasts, concerts and exhibitions. The venue hosts an impressive 42-foot high glass cupola, which allows light to stream in, and a generously proportioned foyer with a reception area of over 7,500 square feet.

"Its proximity to the ever expanding Munich airport, its excellent location and infrastructure links, and its closeness to Munich city center were all key factors for us," commented Andy Dolce, founder, chairman and managing partner of Dolce International. "Munich is a key strategic area that we have been considering as we expand into Europe. With properties just outside Paris, Barcenotlona, Frankfurt, the Provence and soon Brussels, this location is a sensible addition to our portfolio. It will further strengthen Dolce's position in the meetings and conference market and open up new opportunities for our international clients."

The provisional agreement for the BallhausForum was signed on December 6th by Andy Dolce and the town's mayor Rolf Zeitler. The contract for building the new hotel was countersigned on the same day by Volker Schuhmacher, representing the group of investors, and Andy Dolce.
