Benchmark Appoints Bob Boyle Regional DOO
HOUSTON, TX, July 22, 2009 - Benchmark Hospitality International has named Bob Boyle regional director of operations for the leading hospitality management company. This new role is in addition to Mr. Boyle's responsibilities as vice president and general manager of Turtle Bay Resort, Benchmark's offshore flagship property located on Oahu's North Shore. The promotion was announced by Greg Champion, Benchmark's chief operating officer.

In his new role as regional director of operations, Mr. Boyle assumes responsibility for overseeing the 326-guestroom Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center, Benchmark's award-winning property located in Scottsdale, Arizona. He will continue in his responsibilities at the 443-guestroom Turtle Bay Resort. Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center and Turtle Bay Resort are the two largest resort properties in Benchmark Hospitality's portfolio.
Under Mr. Boyle's leadership, the ocean-side Turtle Bay Resort has seen record results for occupancy, average daily rate, revenues, gross operating profits and guest satisfaction levels in each of the four years he has led the resort. Additionally, for the second consecutive year, Turtle Bay Resort has been named one of the "World's Best Hotels" by Travel + Leisure magazine, in addition to several other awards the resort has received under his leadership.
In 2008, Mr. Boyle was given one of Benchmark Hospitality's most prestigious honors, the "CEO of Sales Award," presented annually to the general manager who exemplifies truly outstanding contributions and extraordinary support for his or her property's sales efforts.
