Tropicana Las Vegas Adds Two New Eateries

SEPTEMBER 16, 2009 - Having recently embarked on a $125 million property-wide renovation, Tropicana Las Vegas makes the first of many exciting announcements with today's introduction of two new restaurants: Havana Go Go Cafe and Bacio Pasta & Vino.

"People love a great meal and remember an exceptional dining experience," said Tropicana Las Vegas Vice President of Food and Beverage Jim Laughlin. "What better way to kick off our transformation than to open two entirely new dining venues that deliver on both?"

Both restaurants open with completely rejuvenated interiors and exteriors: new furnishings, flooring, decor, delicious menu items and more. The newly renovated dining outlets serve as the first glimpse of the vivid colors and energetic vibe planned to reach every customer touch-point by this time next year.

Havana Go Go Cafe is the perfect place for a tasty snack, grab-and-go breakfast or cafe mocha morning pick-me-up. Conveniently located just off the main casino, Havana Go Go is open daily at 7 a.m. and features a fresh new look, bright red and blue interior decoration and a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. Menu items include Cuban bread pizza, paninis, deli-style sandwiches, soups, salads, bagels, muffins and a multitude of aromatic coffee delights. Look for Havana 2 Go Go coming to the Island Tower soon.

Bacio Pasta & Vino offers a wide variety of fine Italian cuisine at affordable prices. Guests can create their own pizza or calzone; choose a hearty pasta dish such as Lobster Bucatini, slow-cooked beef Rigatoni or classic Spaghetti with meatballs; or for a lighter fare, enjoy one of Bacio's many soups, salads or starters. Complement any entree selection with one of Bacio's more than 30 varieties of vino, many served by the glass as well as the bottle to accommodate any party. The intimate Italian bistro setting features a stylish decor accented by large murals, wall-mounted wine racks, custom tables and more. Bacio Pasta & Vino is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
