Industry veteran Kathy Bannasch named vice president sales and marketing

ATLANTA, GA, September 24, 2009 - hotel SystemsPro, a pioneer of Web-based enterprise solutions that enable hotel companies to increase market share, has tapped industry authority Kathy Bannasch as the company's vice president of sales and marketing. The new position was created to assist the company in its growth in the constantly evolving hospitality technology marketplace, including sales and catering software, and hotel management software.

Based in hotel SystemsPro's Atlanta corporate offices, Kathy's responsibilities include leading the training, account development, revenue retention and communications strategy for the company.

Kathy brings more than 25 years of successful hospitality industry experience to hotel SystemsPro, working with companies including the Walt Disney Company, Marriott, Intercontinental Hotels, and Hilton Hotels Corporation. She has held numerous positions, ranging from concierge to corporate regional manager and was formerly adjunct professor at Grand Valley State University.

Most recently, Kathy was with Hampton Inns in New York, New Jersey and New England. She was also a partner and co-creator of Hilton's Focused Service Brands General Manager Leadership Training Program, and the program's principal trainer/facilitator.

Kathy recently became a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from AH&LA and is a graduate of Ferris State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Marketing.
