Pan Pacific Names David Wong as VP, Technical Services
SINGAPORE, 28 September, 2009 - Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of David Wong as Vice President, Technical Services.
Drawing on his expertise in design, development, construction and value engineering in pre and post-opening hotel projects, David, in his new appointment, will play a key role as leader and consultant in technical services. By benchmarking all specifications, and performance measures of technical services against the competition and in accordance with in-country governmental bodies, he will maintain a distinctive edge for all of Pan Pacific Hotels Group's properties in line with highest standards of quality in technical asset management.
David's vast experience in the hospitality industry began with Hyatt International where he spent five years in Brunei as Director of Operations, assisting with the Royal family's business and investment interests. His last appointment was Director of Projects, Technical Services, with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts. Based in Hong Kong, David was tasked with the opening of several large-scale hotel projects, the most recent being the flagship Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo.
