Hotel Martinez Appoints Hotel Manager and DoSM
SEPTEMBER 29, 2009 - Concorde Hotels & Resorts has recently appointed Gitte Harder-Pecqueux as Hotel Manager and Marie-Christine Buenaobra as Director of Sales & Marketing of the legendary Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France. Harder-Pecqueux will assist the General Manager and supervise the operations of the Group's five-star, 412-room resort on the French Riviera. Buenaobra will oversee the property's Sales and Marketing initiatives.
Harder-Pecqueux began her career at Concorde Hotels & Resorts in 2003 and has held positions as Sales Director, Commercial and Marketing Director and Director of Business Development at Concorde Hotels throughout the South of France. Prior to that, she worked at a variety of four-star hotels in Nice and at the SBM Monaco. She is a graduate of the Aarhus Business School in Denmark.
Buenaobra's extensive background in sales stems from her previous position at Concorde Hotels & Resorts' Hotel Palais de la M'editerran'ee in Nice. Prior to that, she played an instrumental role in the opening of the Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche in France. Buenaobra also held various positions at top hotels in Nice. She has lived in the Bahamas and worked as a supervisor at a French restaurant. Buenaobra obtained a DUEG* in Law and a DUT** in Production Management.
