Brian Fedorowicz Named AVP Convention Sales for VISIT DENVER
NOVEMBER 24, 2009 - Brian Fedorowicz has been named the new associate vice president of convention sales for VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau, filing the spot vacated by Rachel Benedick, who was promoted to vice president convention sales and services earlier this year.
“Brian Fedorowicz brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to our ranks, and has intimate experience and understanding of the convention and hotel sales process,” said Rachel Benedick, vice president of sales and services, VISIT DENVER.
Prior to Fedorowicz joining VISIT DENVER, he was most recently director of sales and marketing with Destination Hotels and Resorts, where he was 2009 sales leader of the year. His responsibilities there included a repositioning for the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, N.M., and development of the business, sales, and marketing plan. Fedorowicz also served as the director of sales and catering with Destination Hotels and Resorts, and before that, served as director of sales and marketing for the Adam's Mark Hotel Denver, the Doubletree Hotel Denver, and The Red Lion Hotel Denver, among several other properties and chains.
Fedorowicz received his bachelor of science from the University of Houston, in Texas.
