New Year's Eve Masquerade Bash Will Feature Five Rooms of Entertainment, Celebrity DJs, Celebratory

SAN DIEGO, CA, December 10, 2009 - Non-stop entertainment, sensual performances and celebrity DJs will be on display at the Ivy Hotel's “Masquerade” New Year's bash. With five rooms of entertainment, special packages and a delicious Quarter Kitchen menu, guests will have endless possibilities to toast and revel into the New Year.

“It's been a tough year for a lot of people, so we put something really exciting together to celebrate a new year and a new beginning,” said Rick Gluth, general manager of the Ivy Hotel. “From dinner at the Quarter Kitchen to our premium bottle service, our New Year's packages offer something that all of our guests can enjoy.”

Entertainment will be provided by S.K.A.M. Artist DJs Gusto, OB-One and StoneRokk, as well as DJ Este and Get Down Society. The DJ beats will be amplified in different areas of the hotel, including Envy Nightclub, Ivy Rooftop, Ballroom, Ultra Lounge and signature Quarter Kitchen restaurant.

Nightclub bottle service for eight people is $2,000, six people is $1,600 and four people is $1,100. All bottle service packages feature VIP admission to the New Year's Eve party for each guest, premium liquor with mixers, a bottle of champagne and party favors. The New Year's Eve Room Package, priced from $559, includes a one-night stay in deluxe accommodations for two people, complimentary VIP entry to Ivy's New Year's Eve bash, a $190 value, party favors and a midnight champagne toast. The Ivy's Quarter Kitchen truly comes to life on New Year's Eve with DJ entertainment, a complimentary champagne toast and special three-course menu prepared by Executive Chef Nathan Coulon. The festive meal begins with a chef's choice of Amuse Bouche and first course options of Caesar Salad, Arugula Salad, Consomme of Chicken, Shrimp Cocktail and Foie Gras Terrrine. The innovative main course items include Blackened Hamachi, Eight Ounce Filet of Prime Beef, Grilled Pacific Shrimp, Braised Prime Shortribs, Duck Two Ways, and Lobster Pot Pie. For dessert, guests can choose from Meyer Lemon Semifreddo, Tuxedo Mousse or Apple Frangipane Tart.

The menu is $99 per person prior to 7:30 p.m. and $129 per person afterward. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 619-814-2000. With dinner reservations, the New Year's Eve Envy Nightclub admission is $75 per person.
