InnVest REIT Appoints James MacQueen as VP Asset Management
JANUARY 10, 2007. Kenny Gibson, President and Chief Executive Officer of InnVest REIT is pleased to announce the recent appointment of James MacQueen as Vice President, Asset Management.
James brings a solid track record of real estate and asset management experience to the position. He has held leadership positions in the commercial real estate and multi-unit,multi brand retail sectors for more than 16 years while working throughout Canada and the United States, including senior management positions at Alderwoods Group, Oxford Properties Group and Ivanhoe Cambridge. Most recently, James was Vice President, Real Estate and Development with Cara Operations Limited.
James will be responsible for delivering asset management strategies across InnVest REIT's portfolio of 137 Canadian hotels, as well as identifying revenue growth and diversification opportunities throughout the enterprise.
James is graduate of University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree and holds an undergraduate degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax.
