. February 17, 2010

TOKYO, Japan - February 16, 2010 - JAL Hotels Co., Ltd. has announced the opening of a new wing with an additional 42 executive rooms at Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf after a major two-year renovation. The hotel now offers 386 luxury rooms and suites in eight different categories and 18 conference facilities, making it Düsseldorf's largest downtown hotel and a leading convention destination.

The new rooms were created to especially cater to international business executives with oversized desks, flat screen TVs, wired Internet access and free or of charge W-LAN. Guests who book these executive rooms will enjoy complimentary access to the hotel's spa. Additional room features include large soundproof windows with breathtaking views of Düsseldorf. The bathroom's light marble and spaciousness offer an in-room spa-like experience as guests are treated to cascading rain shower heads and complimentary skincare products from the Molton Brown collection.

Additionally, six existing rooms have been converted into “murphy rooms,” which can be transformed from a guest room into a conference room equipped with modern technology devices as the bed vanishes into the closet.

Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf's General Manager, Bertold Reul, says, “Visitors are thrilled once arriving to the remodeled hotel. Nikko Düsseldorf is a superior four-star hotel, but guests receive five-star treatment due to the hotels dimensions, comfort and elegance.”
