Nominations Sought for Distinguished Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame
AUSTIN, TX, USA - (February 18, 2010) - For two decades Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has honored innovative individuals behind technology-driven developments in the hospitality industry with the International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame. The association continues this tradition by accepting nominations for the 2010 honoree(s). Up to two nominees will be selected and recognized at the Tuesday general session of HITEC 2010 (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference®) on June 22 in Orlando, Fla.
Applications are available on the HFTP web site, with nominations due to the HFTP office by April 12. The 2010 honoree(s) will be selected by a distinguished panel of technology experts and HFTP leaders.

To keep up with expectations and in recognition of the visionaries who develop these instruments and their impact on the hospitality industry, HFTP established the International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame, the association's highest level of recognition in the area of technology. Since 1989, 31 individuals have been selected by their peers as representing the best in innovation and application and as leaders in their profession.
