A Fifth Star for the Hotel Byblos
Fifth Star for the Hotel Byblos, a Reward of Excellence
(February 23, 2010 - New York, NY) The Hotel Byblos Saint-Tropez is now one of the few French hotels recently awarded with a five-star rating.
Antoine Chevanne (CEO of Groupe Floirat), Christophe Chauvin (General Manager of the Hotel Byblos) and their entire team, a group of 280 dedicated employees, have combined their efforts to commit, surprise, seduce and offer the best to their international clientele.
The fifth star pays tribute to the values of Groupe Floirat: a getaway at one of the properties of the group means the discovery of an exceptional location, a rich history in a magical setting and impeccable service.
Luxury palaces, charming boutique hotels and clubs of distinction, the 'Floirat' style is unique and attends to guests' every whim. It reflects the harmony of a perfect, inherited art of hospitality and French know-how.
The fifth star is a true recognition at an international level but also a legitimization of the group's willingness to excel in its domain. It is an invitation to go further in the quest for perfection, to expand and invest while keeping in mind that the hotel is a symbol of French hospitality.
This recognition is no blind chance. The Hotel Byblos, the milestone of Groupe Floirat, had to comply with very strict criteria. With the reform presented in December 2008 by Herve Novelli, Minister of Tourism of France, and effective starting October 1, 2009, the French hotel classification system now maintains the highest standards. A five-star hotel must comply with 124 mandatory criteria as well as with more than a hundred optional criteria such as hotel services, sustainable development and guests' comfort.
The palace of the French Riviera took up this challenge brilliantly and easily earned its place among the elite of French hotels.
A reward of excellence, this fifth star is perceived by the team as an achievement but also as a proof of the continued support the hotel has received and will keep receiving.
Hotel Byblos is nestled in the center of Saint-Tropez at Avenue Paul Signac 83990 Saint-Tropez, France.
The hotel features 44 rooms and 47 suites, each uniquely designed and decorated. The Byblos Saint-Tropez is open from April 1, 2010 to October 24, 2010. For reservations please call +334 94 56 68 00
