Musselman Continues to Receive Prestigious Awards

Louisville, KY - March 18, 2010 - Several hotels owned and/or managed by Musselman Hotels of Louisville, KY - one of the region's leading management companies - have been recognized with several prominent industry awards. Among them, the full-service Westin in Richmond, Virginia, which has just received the prestigious 2010 AAA Four Diamond Award®. In addition, it was just awarded “Best In Class” from Starwood Hotels & Resorts for having the highest Guest Satisfaction Index for 2009 of all 113 Westin Hotels & Resorts in North America, and it was also recently certified as a Virginia Green Hotel and a Virginia Green Conference Center. Eco-friendly in their energy and water conservation, as well as recycling efforts, this facility is paving the way for a green revolution in tourism.

For five consecutive years, 2003 through 2008, the Embassy Suites Louisville East was also the number one Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Scorecard Award winner for its overall guest service.

Another Musselman property, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Louisville East located in Louisville, Kentucky, was the recipient of the 2008 Connie Pride Hotel of the Year Award. The Connie Pride Award, named after Conrad Hilton, is awarded to the hotel that achieved the highest quality of service. At the time the award was presented there were approximately 250 hotels nationwide in the brand. In addition, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Louisville East received the Award of Merritt for Extended Stay-Most Improved, and has been rated “outstanding” in overall combined Satisfaction And Loyalty Tracking (SALT) scores each and every month since opening in November of 2006.

Finally, Springhill Suites by Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky, was awarded the Marriott Diamond Circle Award and Chairman's Award in 2007, along with the highest Overall Guest Satisfaction in the Central Region in 2006.
