New PGA Golf Professional Helps High Hampton Inn Swing into Its 88th Season
CASHIERS, NC (April 8, 2010) - As High Hampton Inn & Country Club in Cashiers, N.C. prepares for its 88th season, the resort is pleased to announce that Craig Hartle will serve as the new PGA Golf Professional for the property.

Hartle, who comes to High Hampton Inn from the Atlanta-area, has been a Golf Professional for 27 years, 24 of those as a Class-A PGA Professional. He brings to the resort years of experience that he has gained from working with, consulting for, and teaching at resorts and private country clubs. Prior to arriving at High Hampton Inn, Hartle served as the Director of Golf/General Manager of the Echelon Golf Club/Georgia Tech Club in Alpharetta, Ga.
Throughout his career, Hartle has been an active member of the Georgia PGA He has served on numerous committees and on the board of directors for the organization. From 2004-2006, he was the Georgia PGA Tournament Chairman, and he served as the Tournament Director of the Georgia State Open from 1988-1993 and again in 2003.
No stranger to awards, Hartle was chosen as the Golf Professional of the Year for the Georgia PGA in 2006. He has won more than 33 professional golf events, and is a two-time Georgia PGA Champion (winning in 1986 and 1995) and three-time Georgia Senior-Junior Champion. In 1990, he was one of four golfers in the USF&G National Skins Championship, which was televised nationally on ESPN.
