Tony Polito Appointed as DOS for Four Points Sheraton in Norwalk

NORWALK, CT - August 12, 2010 - Tony Polito has been named Director of Sales for the Four Points by Sheraton located in Norwalk, CT. The 127-room Four Points Norwalk is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.

As Director of Sales, Polito will be responsible for the total sales efforts the hotel, including developing and maintaining new accounts, supervising sales related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Polito brings more than ten years of sales and of hospitality experience to the Four Points Norwalk team. He previously worked as Group Sales Manager for the Westin Stamford Hotel, Director of Group Sales for the Holiday Inn Stamford Downtown, and Director of Sales for the Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center. He most recently served as Senior Sales Manager for the Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, NJ.

Polito is the current Director of Community Outreach for the Meeting Professionals International WestField Chapter (MPIWC) which serves the Westchester, NY and Fairfield, CT counties. He also serves as the Stamford Representative for the Western Connecticut Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. Polito holds a Bachelor of Arts, Communications & Theatre Degree from the State University of New York College at Cortland.
