Beej Das Joins Molinaro Koger as Managing Director, India

JANUARY 19, 2007. Rob Koger, President of Molinaro Koger, announced today that Abhijit 'Beej' Das, an accomplished hospitality transactional executive, has joined the firm as a Managing Director, India. He is currently based in New York, and will open the company's offices in Mumbai in the first quarter of 2007.

Mr. Das' hospitality expertise spans more than 15 years; during which time he has crafted transactions in the U.S. and internationally totaling more than $2 billion in value.

'Beej's global experience, expertise in structuring hotel transactions, from development to disposition, and depth of contacts in India, optimally position him to expand MK's array of services throughout the Subcontinent,' stated Mr. Koger in making the announcement.

Fluent in English and Bengali, Mr. Das has represented owners and developers of hotels encompassing an array of brands including Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Hilton, Sheraton, Doubletree and Marriott. Mr. Das' aptitude enables him to successfully advise clients in a variety of hospitality real estate transactions and matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, fund formations, and brand and site selection.

Immediately prior to joining Molinaro Koger, Mr. Das served in the Hospitality and Recreation Group at the Boston office of Goulston & Storrs. While there he represented institutional, public and private high net worth individuals in a variety of hospitality transactions and matters. As Outside General Counsel to Priya Hospitality LLC, a start-up hotel developer focused on lifestyle assets, Mr. Das directed cross-border hotel transactions in India.
