Vincent Guerin Appointed DoSM for Two Le Meridiens

Tahiti & Bora Bora - September 13, 2010 - Le Meridien Tahiti and Le Meridien Bora Bora are pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent Guerin as Director of Sales and Marketing. Bringing 19 years of experience earned at leading luxury hotel groups, Guerin is responsible for directing all sales and marketing efforts for the sister resorts.
Vincent's appointment comes as Le Meridien Tahiti nears completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation and Le Meridien Bora Bora prepares to launch a similar project. Le Meridien Tahiti's renovations will enhance all public areas and accommodations and is scheduled to be complete in January 2011, while Le Meridien Bora Bora launches interior renovations for all public spaces and overwater bungalows starting October 1, 2010. The reopening will be on January 22, 2011. The projects will result in contemporary, culturally refined and sophisticated atmospheres, bringing both resorts in line with new standards for the Le Meridien brand.

Vincent joins Le Meridien Tahiti and Bora Bora from The Westin Resort/The Ramanos, a Starwood Luxury Collection Resort in Costa Navarino, Greece, where he spent the past two years as Complex Director of Sales & Marketing. Previously, he was Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Starwood in French Polynesia, overseeing sales and marketing efforts for four properties including Sheraton Tahiti, Sheraton Moorea and St. Regis Bora Bora. Prior to that, Vincent headed up sales and marketing efforts in Morocco and France.

A native of Chartres, France, Vincent studied economics at University of Tours-France, and hospitality industry at International Institute of Hotel Management Maxim's in Paris, respectively.
