Hilton Worldwide Names Dasha Ross Director, Global Corporate Communications
September 15, 2010 - Hilton Worldwide today announced the appointment of Dasha Ross, who joins the company as Director, Global Corporate Communications. In her new role, Ross will support continuing efforts to promote the Hilton Worldwide corporation from a global perspective, working with corporate and divisional leadership to implement internal and external communications strategies. She will focus in particular on outreach to consumer and trade media.
Ross has 12 years of experience in public relations, with the majority of her experience acquired within the hospitality industry. Ross has held a number of communications roles at Marriott International, most recently senior manager, public relations. In this role, Ross developed and implemented national public relations programs. While at Marriott Ross also served as regional manager of public relations in Los Angeles, where she spearheaded Marriott's West Coast corporate communications office. Ross also held the positions of manager, international public relations; manager, media relations; and coordinator, media relations; during her tenure at Marriott. Prior to Marriott, Ross worked as an account executive for Alan Taylor Communications (now Taylor PR) and Ruder Finn.

Ross holds a Master of Science/Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management from the University of Maryland, University College. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has also completed Crisis Management training with the Ammerman Experience.
