New Exec Chef Familiar Face at The Clifton Inn
November 4, 2010 - The Clifton Inn has always felt like a home to its guests- albeit one with world class service and amenities - its elegant, yet welcoming spirit drawing guests back to its Charlottesville, Virginia grounds, visit after visit. But it's not only guests who enjoy returning to Clifton - but members of the staff as well. The Clifton Inn is excited to announce that chef Tucker Yoder has returned to the kitchen at Clifton as the new executive chef.
A familiar face at The Clifton Inn, Tucker served as sous chef under Christian Kelly when the team was securing Relais & Châteaux status for the hotel. Most recently, Tucker helped design, build, develop and run all aspects of The Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia and was celebrated in such publications as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Post which wrote that sampling Tucker's cuisine was "an essential stop" for lunch or dinner.
Clifton is excited for Tucker to bring his knowledge and expertise back to Charlottesville and continue to build upon our existing relationships with local Virginia farmers and purveyors.
