Dan Howard Named DoPR Montage Deer Valley
November 22, 2010 - Marcus Jackson, General Manager, Montage Deer Valley, has appointed Dan Howard as Director of Public Relations for the lodge-style Mountain Craftsman resort opening December 2010 in Park City, Utah, with true ski-in, ski-out access to Deer Valley Resort, just named North America's #1 ski resort by the readers of SKI Magazine for an unprecedented fourth year in a row.
Howard previously managed media relations efforts for two of California's preeminent destinations, Beverly Hills and Napa Valley (CVB) and was Development Director for San Francisco CVB. He started his career on New York's Madison Avenue with AC&R Public Relations, a division of Saatchi & Saatchi, and also managed accounts for the tourism division of Hill & Knowlton Public Relations in Los Angeles.
He has provided marketing consulting services to hotels, wineries, airlines, restaurants and government agencies in Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Chile, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa and Thailand. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Howard earned his Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
