Mark Fischer to Take the Helm at Ink48

December 23, 2010 - Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, a collection of boutique hotels and chef-driven restaurants in the United States, announces today the appointment of industry veteran Mark Fischer as general manager of Manhattan's Ink48.

The hiring of Fischer marks Ink48's continued commitment to creating unique and inspiring guest experiences. Fischer, a longtime Kimpton associate, brings with him a wealth of experience; he was implemental in the opening of the 112-room Onyx hotel in Boston, where he oversaw daily operations and managed all communications efforts. Most recently, Fischer served as general manager at the Hotel Palomar Atlanta, a 304-room property he saw through its opening, helping to make it a well-established fixture in the Atlanta community.

Fischer has worked with the Kimpton Group for more than 7 years. He moves from Atlanta with his wife, two children and his dog Brady.
