Hotel Equities Names Angela Raub the Director of Business Development
ATLANTA, GA - January 7, 2011 - Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently named Angela Raub as the company's Director of Business Development. Ms. Raub has responsibility for securing third party management contracts and servicing the needs of those investors and owners who hire Hotel Equities. She also identifies possible acquisitions and new development opportunities.
Working closely with the Director of New Business Development, Andrew Pace, she reports to President and CEO Fred Cerrone.
“Angela holds an extensive background in business development, an extensive network of contacts and enthusiasm that will propel her to achieve much success,” said Mr. Cerrone. “She has a proven track record as a capable leader who knows how to drive business results. Ms. Raub brings 20 years of business development experience to her new position. She joined the HE team after serving as Director of Business Development for Brightworth, an Atlanta-based private wealth management firm. Previously she held the position of Director of Corporate Relations at Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business.
In 1999, Ms. Raub came to Atlanta to work for Towerlink LLC, a start-up telecom company that built cellular towers for metro and secondary mobile networks. She earned a BA in Communications from the University of Toledo and an Executive MBA from Georgia State University.
A resident of Sandy Springs, north of Atlanta, Ms. Raub is the mother of a teenage daughter. Active at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, she enjoys running and reading.
