Outrigger Appoints Kevin Aucello as VP of Hawaii Development

HONOLULU, OAHU, HI - April 14, 2011 - Mel Kaneshige, executive vice president of real estate and development for Outrigger Enterprises Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Aucello to the newly created position of vice president of Hawaii development.

Mr. Aucello is a top hotel real estate executive with extensive experience in the Hawaii market as well as first-hand knowledge of the markets and demand drivers in Guam and Micronesia. Prior to joining Outrigger, Mr. Aucello held several senior roles at CB Richard Ellis from 1997 until 2007, when he was hired by Marriot International. While working for CB Richard Ellis, he provided a full range of advisory services, including seller side brokerage and acquisition analysis and valuation for hotels, golf courses, development land, and industrial, retail, and office properties. He also established the company's hotel brokerage practice in Hawaii and Micronesia.

Over the years, Outrigger Enterprise Group has worked with Mr. Aucello on a number of projects, including most recently when he was vice president of lodging development with Marriot International where he was responsible for the approval of four hotel management and franchise agreements. He was also directly responsible for adding The Waikiki EDITION and the Courtyard by Marriot Waikiki Beach, an Outrigger-managed hotel, to the Marriot portfolio.

Mr. Aucello graduated from the University of Florida in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and went on to receive his Master of Arts in Real Estate in 1982. An active member in the real estate field, he currently holds a Hawaii Real Estate Broker's License.
