Margaret McMahon Joins WATG

April 14, 2011 - Mike Seyle, WATG president and CEO, announced the appointment of Margaret McMahon to manage and grow the firm's interior design practice. In her new role, Margaret will be a member of the firm's senior leadership team, collaborating with hospitality clients around the globe.

Previously the managing director of Wilson Associates' New York office, McMahon has over 25 years of interior design experience. She has an impressive portfolio of international hospitality work, including the InterContinental The Barclay in New York City; the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo, Egypt; the Fairmont Monte Carlo in Monaco; and The Ritz-Carlton, Grande Lakes, in Orlando, Florida.

Educated at the University of New York and the Parsons School of Design, Margaret is a former president of the Greater New York Chapter of Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH). She is a frequent speaker at industry-related conferences and events and has contributed to such publications as Architectural Digest, Hospitality Design, and Boutique Design.
