Presidian Names General Manager and Property Manager
San Antonio, TX - May 3, 2011 - Presidian, an owner/operator of hotels and residences, today announced the promotion of two individuals to property-level leadership positions:
- Carrie Groover was promoted to General Manager of the 195 unit Marriott-Visalia Convention Center Hotel in Visalia, California.
- Judy Hemmes was named Property Manager of the Ocean Club at Biloxi Beach Condominiums in Biloxi, MS.

As the Director of Sales of the Hotel for the past 5 years, Carrie was instrumental in leading the sales effort during the conversion of a former Radisson to the Marriott-Visalia Convention Center. Before this role, Carrie was the Operations Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn-Rancho Bernardo, CA; another Presidian developed and managed property. Carrie handled the key operational disciplines of opening this award winning hotel. Prior to joining Presidian, Carrie spent 10 years working for Marriott corporate managed hotels as a Director of Sales and various operations management positions.
Judy Hemmes
As a new member of the Presidian team, Judy brings a wealth of experience in the areas of property management, real estate and marketing. Most recently, she held the position of Property Manager and Director of the Homeowners Association for Annabellas Townhomes in Pensacola City, FL. Prior to that she held the position of Merchandising Manager of the Mississippi Seal Wolves Hockey Team. She will lead the efforts of short and long term leasing and unit sales.
