Radisson to Open Hotel in Makkah
First Rezidor-property in the holy city of Islam
JANUARY 30, 2007. The Rezidor Hotel Group plans its first property in Makkah, Saudi-Arabia: The Al Diyafa Radisson Hotel will open its doors in 2010. Within walking distance of the Al Diyafa shopping mall and just three kilometres from the legendary Haram mosque, the first-class-hotel will offer 256 rooms, four restaurants, a separate male and female spa, six meeting rooms and a 1250 square metre ballroom.

The Rezidor Hotel Group currently manages four Radisson hotels in Riyadh, Jeddah (2) and Yanbu. In addition, the company's mid market Park Inn brand will be present in Riyadh and Al Khobar.
